✅ Eligibility Requirements
You must satisfy all of the following:
- Educational Qualification
- For Level-2 (Group C): 12th pass (or equivalent) with 50% marks. (Relaxations apply for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/higher qualifications.)

- For Level-1 (Group D): 10th standard pass OR ITI certificate OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT. GovtJobsAlert.In
- Scouts & Guides Qualification
- Must have earned the President’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover Award or a Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) in any section. GovtJobsAlert.In
- Must have been an active member of a Scout organisation for at least 5 years. GovtJobsAlert.In
- Must have attended two events at the national level (or All India Railways level) and two events at the state level. GovtJobsAlert.In
- Age Limit (as on 1 Jan 2026)

- Written Test (60 marks): 40 objective questions + 1 essay question. Topics include history of Scouting/Guiding, Scout law & promise, organization structure, proficiency badges, general knowledge etc. Negative marking for wrong answers. GovtJobsAlert.In
